If you are rebuilding a DEUTZ BFM2011 turbo diesel engine, the correct piston kit is 0428 6720 – not to be confused with 0428 1445 (D2011/FLM2011) or 0410 2523 (TCD2011). This kit uses a steel top ring carrier and a deeper combustion bowl to accommodate the higher heat and pressure of forced induction. Each piston comes with three rings (top ring with aluminum nitride coating), a full-floating pin, and two circlips. Bore size is 92mm, compression height matches BFM2011 spec only. We stock both OEM and aftermarket versions, and we always ask for your engine serial number before shipping – because BFM2011 engines built before 2008 used a different pin offset.
