This DEUTZ BFL913 liner kit addresses two common failure modes in turbocharged 913 engines – liner pitting from coolant cavitation and flange cracking from pre-ignition. Our liners feature a electrolytic nickel-chromium external coating that raises surface hardness to 320 HV, effectively resisting bubble implosion damage in wet liner zones. Each unit is finish-honed to a plateau crosshatch angle of 45-50 degrees for immediate ring seating with your existing BFL913 piston rings. The upper flange receives induction hardening to prevent micro-movement under high boost pressure. Kits include fluorocarbon rubber lower seals (rated to 150°C) and pre-installed protective sleeves.
